Metier-Vakwerk has its origins in the in-house development and restoration of national monumental real estate. From practical experience, we regularly ran into the limitations of existing woodwork solutions - especially when it came to exactly reproducing historical detailing. This experience prompted us to start producing monumental woodwork in-house. This allows us to meet the high requirements needed to reproduce existing detailing 1-to-1, an essential starting point for obtaining permits within monumental project development.

From this base, Metier-Vakwerk has grown into a specialist in the design and realisation of high-quality customised woodwork, for both interiors and exteriors. From wooden window frames, windows and doors to stairs, floors and complete building elements such as dormers and annexes - each project is manufactured with the utmost care and precision. The emphasis is on customised solutions that fit seamlessly into the existing situation, with respect for architecture, history and regulations.

By combining traditional techniques and modern production methods, we deliver sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, insulation and detailing. Here, authentic appearance is combined with contemporary performance, such as HR++ glazing and high-quality finishes. This is expressed, for example, in historical glass as the outer layer in the construction of triple glazing.

We supervise the entire process - from design and consultancy to production and assembly - with each element carefully matched to the building and the client's vision.
