Wooden windows and frames

Our wooden windows are manufactured from high-quality wood and fully custom-made. They are available with different options for glazing, finishing and fittings. Metier-Vakwerk specialises in providing window frame solutions for national monuments. The natural material allows refined detailing and ensures good thermal performance and longevity when treated properly.

 

All our windows are made of factory-treated wood for improved resistance to moisture and UV radiation.

Features

Full customisation

Our wooden window frames with sashes are fully custom-made and can be made in almost any shape and design. Whether turn, tilt, bulb or sliding windows, any type of window can be realised. As a result, the window frames fit perfectly into both modern homes and existing buildings.

Historical detailing

With our experience at traditional carpentry we can historical detailing and profiling accurate reproduce. Panel layouts, glass rods, profiling and proportions be carefully mimicked, allowing window frames perfect fit at historical and monumental properties and the original character preserved remains.

Flexible glazing

Our windows we be delivered with almost any form from glazing. From only glass to modern insulating glass such as HR++ or HR++ glass, but also with special solutions such as monument glass with a historical outer layer.

Options

Fully customised frames and sashes for renovation and new construction. Profile width from 89 mm, frame depth 68-120 mm. Suitable for Turn, tilt, roll and fixed windows.

 

Frames in oak, pine or meranti. Factory-painted 4-sided (120-180 μm) in RAL, NCS or colour of your choice. Glazing possible with HR++, HR+++ (Ug 0.5-1.1 W/m²K) with optional monumental outer layer.

 

Achieve complete frame systems Uw ≈ 0.8-1.4 W/m²K depending on glass construction. Light transmission up to 80%, g-value approx. 0.50-0.63. Equipped with double or triple EPDM gasketing for high airtightness and sound insulation up to ±45 dB.

Our experienced team optionally installs the windows with precision, ensuring performance and authenticity in every detail.
